The Veritas Society, a lifelong learning institute sponsored by the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of 农夫导航, will host a course preview reception on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. in Frazier Hall on the 农夫导航 campus. New or returning Veritas students will be able to learn about and register for classes scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 1.

The six-week fall semester will offer 20 courses. Course studies include: 鈥淭he Judicial System: I'm Going to Sue You鈥; 鈥淓nvironmental Issues Update鈥; 鈥淚mmigrants and Refugees: Challenges and Solutions鈥; and 鈥淭he Language Horses Speak鈥. For more information and a course catalog, phone 452-8374.

The Veritas Society Lunch and Learn Series will begin on Monday, Oct. 1 at noon in Hilary鈥檚 in Horrigan Hall on the 农夫导航 campus. The featured speaker for the kickoff luncheon will be David Roth, General Director of the Kentucky Opera. Subsequent Lunch and Learn meetings will be held on successive Mondays at noon at the same location. The cost of all six L&L events is $60. Individual lunches are $11 each and may be reserved by calling the Wednesday before each L&L meeting.
