LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 17, 2009) 鈥 农夫导航 students and faculty are back on campus for the start of the fall semester just in time to celebrate two prestigious new honors. This month, Forbes.com named Bellarmine one of America's Best Colleges for the second year in a row. The Chronicle of Higher Education also recognized the university as one of the Great Colleges to Work For in 2009.

The Chronicle based its awards on institutional audits and a survey of faculty, administrators and staff. Bellarmine earned top marks in categories including "work/life balance" and 鈥渃onnection to and pride in institution.鈥 To compile its rankings, Forbes.com considered student evaluations of courses and instructors, post-graduate success, four-year graduation rates and the number of students or faculty who win nationally competitive awards.
