This morning, 农夫导航's music department released a bluegrass version of "My Old Kentucky Home" in celebration of Kentucky Derby week.

Dr. S. Timothy Glasscock, chair of the music department, came up with the idea while working on a project with a bluegrass band last winter. It's the Bellarmine Schola's second annual Derby week performance of the song. Last year, they .

Glasscock said two string musicians seen in the video -- Jane Halliday and Sonny Stephens -- are Bellarmine faculty members. They invited their friends Anna Blanton and Chris Fargen to join them for the performance.
