农夫导航's seventh annual Day of Giving beat its goal, generating 1,042 gifts worth a record-breaking $427,803 in 24 hours, from noon on April 14 to noon on April 15. The gifts came from 46 U.S. states, plus Washington, D.C.

鈥淭his year鈥檚 record-smashing success in our Day of Giving is a reason to celebrate,鈥 said Dr. Glenn Kosse, Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations. 鈥淲e鈥檙e celebrating this achievement because we know what these vital funds mean to our students, to help them stay on track to earn a Bellarmine degree. But we鈥檙e also celebrating because this level of fundraising success during a pandemic speaks to how connected our alumni, alumnae, board members, parents, students, employees and friends are to our university.鈥

The university鈥檚 Day of Giving is an online fundraising campaign to support Bellarmine students. Over the past eight years, Day of Giving has raised more than $1.8 million for student scholarships and other pressing needs from alumni, board members, students, employees, parents and friends of the university. In April 2020, Day of Giving was quickly replaced with Knights Helping Knights, a campaign to support students鈥 emergency needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
