This fall, 农夫导航鈥檚 will host a speaker series featuring international business executives discussing leadership topics.

The series, which is free and open to the public, offers an opportunity to hear first-hand perspectives on the education, training, circumstance and good fortune through which leaders emerge.

鈥淓ven if you are a corner store, the road in front of you is a global highway filled with customers and suppliers from around the world,鈥 said , dean of Bellarmine鈥檚 Rubel School of Business. 鈥淐ompanies must recognize this competition, and the best way to learn is from founders and presidents of companies driving at digital speed on this global highway. The 农夫导航 Business School Speaker Series was designed to help business leaders understand the issues facing them. The Fall 2016 Speaker Series will focus on bringing together leaders on the global highway.鈥

Each session begins with a networking opportunity at 5:30 p.m., followed by a one-hour presentation that begins at 6 p.m.

is the chairman and CEO of D.D. Williamson, a Louisville-based global manufacturer of natural and caramel colors used in food and beverages. He joined the company in 1974, became president in 1982 and CEO in 1992.
 
D.D. Williamson operates 11 plants around the world, with over 75 percent of its sales outside the U.S. Their products are included in more than two billion servings of food and beverages each year.

is founder and president of several companies in his native Cuba, with a background in hotels, restaurants and travel agencies. He leveraged appearances in media coverage about the improving relations between the U.S. and Cuba to become known as one of the island nation鈥檚 new generation of entrepreneurs.
 
Otero founded Mayito鈥檚 B&B, which manages more than 200 privately-owned accommodations in Cuba. He is currently renovating his childhood home into a hostel, and working with a team of engineers to develop software to manage the booking process for Cubans who operate bed and breakfast accommodations.

Last year, retired as president of UPS鈥檚 Ohio Valley District, ending a 36-year UPS career that he began as a package car driver in New Jersey. He worked his way through management positions with increasing responsibility before taking on the newly-created Ohio Valley District president鈥檚 position in 2010. 

As a UPS regional president, Scott managed a multi-billion dollar enterprise for one of UPS鈥檚 fastest growing e-commerce footprints. He received UPS鈥檚 highest award for 鈥減eople excellence鈥 and was recognized by the corporation for running the best overall U.S. domestic operation in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Wednesday, November 2, 2016 (Centro 081)
is president and CEO of Long John Silver鈥檚, which he joined last year after working at Sonic Drive-In as senior vice president, chief brand officer and chief marketing officer.

He鈥檚 held management positions for more than 20 years in the food service industry, including domestic and international leadership roles for brands such as Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC and Einstein Bros. Bagels. Prior to entering the restaurant industry in the 1990鈥檚, James began his career in brand management with Procter & Gamble.
