Celebrate the Knights' ASUN Conference Championship Monday!
Dear Knights Nation,
My ears are still ringing and my heart is still soaring following Tuesday鈥檚 exciting and historic men鈥檚 basketball game in Freedom Hall. What an accomplishment: our first NCAA Division I conference trophy in just our second year as a DI team!
Sincere thanks and praise go to our amazing student-athletes; Coach Scott Davenport and his coaching staff; the entire Athletics staff for hosting the game; and our cheer and dance teams and the pep band for helping to fire up the crowd.
And what a crowd! As part of the second-largest audience ever to attend an ASUN Conference Championship game, Knights Nation truly made Freedom Hall 鈥渙ur house.鈥� We are so proud that this incredible team proved they deserved a spot in the Big Dance. They will always be part of Bellarmine history.
Please join me in honoring them at Bellarmine鈥檚 ASUN Championship Celebration at 4 p.m. Monday in the Centro Atrium. The celebration is open to the Bellarmine community and will also be livestreamed on our . I hope to see you there.
